Cart Mathieu

This French artist has punk written all over him — literally. He moves freely between pop culture, design and fashion. The blend of assignments and prior to Trowfee paints a straggly image. From Apple, Nike, The French Republic, Vice Magazine, Burberry, City of Geneva, Gucci, the Olympic Games to Louis Vuitton. 


“The trowfee concept often translates into implementing user generated data in a subtle fashion. In my piece “Tenacity” - the data not translated into anything else. It’s there but printed in layers, creating a camouflage without actually hiding it. Tenacity means the quality or fact of being very determined and showing persistence. In my opinion, every runner in this race is a citizen of tenacity, and this is my tribute.
